Future Vision; 10 years

FUTURE VISION; 10 YEARS

In the depths of my dreams, a vision I hold,

A glimpse of my future, as years unfold.

As a 16-year-old girl, full of hope and dreams'

I'm thinking about my fate, where my heart will invest.

Ten years from now, will become a woman I shall be,

With my wings will spread out, i will soar wild and free.

A strong woman, perhaps, with words and strength as my art,

making scenerys that touch each beating heart.

In the realm of imagination, I'll surely roam,

Weaving tales of wonder, creating a home.

With pen as my ally, I'll draw vivid scenes,

Guiding souls through realms, where magic my pen will hold.

Education shall be my steadfast guide,

Knowledge as my compass, in which I confide.

Seeking wisdom's embrace, a thirst to be quenched,

Exploring the world, as barriers are drenched.

Yet amidst the pursuit of scholarly delight,

I'll nurture connections, friendships at it shines bright.

A support system woven, true bonds to sustain,

Sharing laughter, tears, and bearing each other's pain.

Love also, shall find its way to my door,

A tender flame ignited, forever to i adore.

With a partner, and a soulmate, by my side,

Together we'll face life's turbulent tides.

Family and home, foundations of strength and hope,

Embracing the moments, be they long or short length.

Creating a haven that full of scenerys, and sanctuary so dear,

Where laughter resounds and love perseveres.

And as I gaze upon the stars in the night,

Reflections of memories, twinkling with light,

I'll marvel at the journey, the growth I have seen,

From a hopeful 16-year-old to who I will have been.

So, in the tapestry of time, my destiny unknown,

I'll embark on the path, with seeds of my dreams.

For in my heart, a fire will forever shall burn,

Guiding every steps, as a woman I earn.

Ten years from now, as the horizon draws near,

I'll meet the unknown, shedding not a tear.

For the girl I once was, her dreams shall survive,

As I emerge, transformed, in this beautiful life.

“The art of LOVE is largely the art of persistence.”

"Self  Love”    Valentine’s Day, also called St. Valentine’s Day, holiday (February 14) when lovers express their affection with greetings and gifts. Given their similarities, it has been suggested that the holiday has origins in the Roman festival of Lupercalia, held in mid-February. The festival, which celebrated the coming of spring, included fertility rites and the pairing off of women with men by lottery. At the end of the 5th century, Pope Gelasius I forbid the celebration of Lupercalia and is sometimes attributed with replacing it with St. Valentine’s Day, but the true origin of the holiday is vague at best. Valentine’s Day did not come to be celebrated as a day of romance until about the 14th century.    The day is popular in the United States as well as in Britain, Canada, and Australia, and it is also celebrated in other countries, including Argentina, France, Mexico, and South Korea. In the Philippines it is the most common wedding anniversary, ...

"NEW YEAR, NEW US"

"THE BEST IS YET TO COME"   When the new year comes around it seems like the perfect time for self-improvement.Even though I’ve always failed my New Year’s resolutions, every year I promise myself that this time will be different. I’ve tried everything from being a vegetarian to starting my homework earlier to giving up Facebook. Each time after about a month (at most) I’ve given up. Why do I even bother? I don’t feel that bad when I break my resolutions but sometimes I wish I could do better.     I know that it’s better to make a SMART goal, (specific, measurable, attainable, reachable, and timely), but it’s challenging for me to find a realistic goal to follow in a year. I like to accomplish little goals, so using my past knowledge, (and a little bit of brain power), I came up with a SMART New Years resolution.     I think I need to get a lot better at telling people, “No.”. I was born a people-pleaser, so I tend to subconsciously do whatever I c...
